The Titanic

April 15, 2012, is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the great ship Titanic, on her maiden voyage from England to the United States.  Over 1500 passengers lost their lives when the great ocean liner went down, amid stories of tragedy, heroism, and narrow escape.  In 1985 the wreck of the Titanic was discovered, lying two and a half miles below the surface of the Atlantic.  New pictures tell the grim tale.
