Songs of the Fifties

Who could forget the Fifties with “Along Came Jones” and “Alley Oop?”  The kids took over with sock hops and poodle skirts, songs like “Hello, Mary Lou,” “Silhouettes on the Shade,” Da Doo Ron Ron,” “Blueberry Hill,’ “Teenager in Love,” by those groups with the marvelous names:  the Fleetwoods, the Chiffons, the Belmonts, the Crystals, and the Monotones.  Baby boomer nostalgia by the bucketful!
